登贝莱还谈到了接过格列兹曼的7号球衣一事，他说：“格列兹曼不在队中的感觉也很奇怪。我和格列兹曼平时总是在一起，在大巴车、飞机上，我都是坐他旁边，我们度过了许多有意思的时光，现在他不在队内了感觉很奇怪。我之所以选择7号是因为这是我最喜欢的号码，我和格列兹曼就这个话题也聊了很久了。我告诉他说如果他退出法国队，我会选择他的7号球衣。”
